Artist Statement - Mary Martin
I am a contemporary artist specializing in mixed media and collage artwork. My art is influenced by my passion for nature and gardening, scripture and inspirational texts, and sacred music. Working with themes of peace and joy, I layer hand-printed papers, inspirational text and sheet music to create tranquil landscapes, seascapes and botanical images. Through my work, I aim to create a visual experience where viewers can encounter moments of inner peace and joy
